The last few weeks we have had a few parties at our house celebrating various events. Celebrating is always so much fun, and it only takes someone to have a party to do it.<\/p>\n

So this reminds me that we need to celebrate ourselves in business as well, and I know a lot of people who never do that.<\/p>\n

Each week I talk to my coaching clients and we talk about what they are doing, what the plan for the week is, and how they did with their goals.<\/p>\n

Sometimes, they are pretty down on themselves when they feel like they are running to catch up, or they didn’t get done what they had planned.<\/p>\n

So we talk about the positives – what did go right? what is the positive side of any situation? It’s motivating, yes, but it’s also celebratory, and when we realize that they are still moving forward even if they have had a so-so week, it makes us both happy!<\/p>\n

Celebrating your successes is really important, particularly when you are working on your own every day.<\/p>\n

It doesn’t matter how big or small the success is, write it down! I suggest getting a success journal and just writing a few things a day.<\/p>\n

It’s easy once you get started.<\/p>\n
