Are you spending all day marketing your business? Or no time at all?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I run into this often when I am talking with VAs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Either they say they are spending all day looking for clients<\/strong>, because they have no client work to do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Or they are spending all their time doing client work<\/strong>, and they don\u2019t have time to organize and do marketing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Neither of these are going to serve you in your business.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marketing is so important \u2013 whether you are actively looking\nfor clients or not, you need to be sure that you have a marketing plan that suits\nyour schedule, and helps you meet your goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here are some of the things you can do in just 20 minutes a\nday (every day!) to keep your business in front of your audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s very easy to get sucked down the rabbit hole of\nmarketing \u2013 particularly on social media \u2013 so what you need to do is to develop\na strategy that minimizes the time you spend doing it, while maximizing your\nresults.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What are you spending your time on now? <\/strong>Knowing what you are doing is the first step. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You are probably on social media, attending live networking events, writing blog posts, sending out newsletters, making images, researching inspirational and motivational quotes, and more.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

These are really common things that people \u2018do\u2019 for\nmarketing. But are they working for you?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How much time are you spending doing any of these?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How many clients have you gotten directly from attending live events or from social media \u2013 or through posting motivational quote graphics?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who is reading your blog or newsletter?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Newsflash: without a plan none of these things will find you clients. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

So what do you need to do instead?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Focus on one to three activities \u2013 and do them really well.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Commit the time, and the strategy. Track your activity and\nmake adjustments where necessary, so that you get the results you seek.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
