My new podcast is called The\nRidiculously Good VA Show. It\u2019s designed to help you become a ridiculously good\nVA. What does that mean?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

I’m\nsure you are wondering what MY bar is for VAs – and it’s high. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When\nyou are charging for a service you want to be the best you can be. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here are my 10 tips that I think every VA should strive for, to become ridiculously good at what they do. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

1. Become a Serious Business Owner.<\/strong> Your clients are serious business owners. You need to be one too, to support them in the way they deserve. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Be Invested. <\/strong>Focus on being a long-term VA. The VAs who are looking for fast money but probably won\u2019t be in business long-term, are not a good fit for the best clients. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Be Time Wise.<\/strong> Always focus on the time it takes to do things. As a VA, time is money and that means that every minute we spend on client work affects them. Keep an eye on your time, work pace and the client\u2019s budget.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Be Organized.<\/strong> One of the reasons clients hire VAs is to get better organized, and to get things done. You need to keep the wheels moving for yourself and your clients \u2013 especially if they aren\u2019t good at keeping all their balls in the air.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Be Responsive.<\/strong> One of the main things clients want to know is the status of the projects they engage you to do. Keep them informed and be responsive, even before they need to ask how things are going.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. Follow Through.<\/strong> Don\u2019t leave it to the client to ask about where things are at. Following through helps you maintain the expectations of your client, and is a huge part of being a ridiculously good VA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. Be Resourceful. <\/strong>There are many things we need to figure out as we work together with clients. Be resourceful \u2013 find the answers, do your own research and make good decisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8. Have Integrity.<\/strong> Integrity is an essential skill for a great VA. Do what you say you will do, when you say you will do it. Own the deliverables you take on. It\u2019s a very good quality to nurture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9. Grow Your Business.<\/strong> When you grow your business, you stay in the same lane as your clients who are often doing the same. Always be looking to see how you can improve your services and your skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

10. Big Picture Focused.<\/strong> The big picture of your business is good to focus on \u2013 when you know what you want your business to look like, and you work to get there, you will be a happy business owner. And that means you will provide better service to your clients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Being a ridiculously good VA is not difficult. <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In fact, many of the tips above are pretty simple to implement. Focus on the things you can do to uplevel your mindset, your business ability, your services, and everything else in your business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
