{"id":3296,"date":"2022-11-25T09:00:00","date_gmt":"2022-11-25T14:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.yourvamentor.com\/blog\/?p=3296"},"modified":"2023-02-24T13:46:46","modified_gmt":"2023-02-24T18:46:46","slug":"everything-is-content-so-start-looking-for-it","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.yourvamentor.com\/blog\/2022\/11\/everything-is-content-so-start-looking-for-it\/","title":{"rendered":"Everything is Content, So Start Looking For It"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">If you are wondering if it\u2019s time to raise your Virtual Assistant rates, then it\u2019s probably time.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>You have no doubt heard me tell Virtual\nAssistants that everything is content \u2013 and it\u2019s true.&nbsp; <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Getting stuck on what to post about is very common \u2013 but\nif you start looking in the right places, you will find that there is so much\nto draw on in your everyday life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Everything is\ncontent, and content is everywhere.<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>What do I mean by that?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Well, the most important thing about content is that your\nclients find it relatable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Relatable content is simply stuff that your clients will\nread and find a connection with. When they see it, they will <em>they \u2018oh I need\nthat\u2019 <\/em>or <em>\u2018oh I understand that\u2019 <\/em>or<em> \u2018oh that is totally me\u2019.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You know how it works when you see something you yourself\nrelate to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is content that stops them from scrolling, and they\nactually take an interest in what you have put out there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">One of the best ways to create relatable content is to\nuse your everyday activities and interactions for ideas.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Storytelling is a very big trend in content these days. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sharing a story about something that has happened to you,\nor something you saw happen to someone else, is a good way to get their\nattention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And then of course you bring in a business lesson or tip\nthat anchors the story to the services you offer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"628\" src=\"https:\/\/www.yourvamentor.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/YVAM-Everything-is-Content-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3381\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.yourvamentor.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/YVAM-Everything-is-Content-1.png 1200w, https:\/\/www.yourvamentor.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/YVAM-Everything-is-Content-1-300x157.png 300w, https:\/\/www.yourvamentor.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/YVAM-Everything-is-Content-1-768x402.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>This week alone I have seen posts from people that I\nfollow that have had stories in them like these:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>A trip to the vet, with a lesson about getting someone\nwho knows what they are doing to help with your marketing<\/li><li>A day in the life, with a lesson in keeping meetings\nshort so you can fit more of them in, and have more valuable conversations<\/li><li>A personal story of not feeling good enough, with a\nlesson in building confidence by pursuing challenging goals<\/li><li>A client success story, with a lesson in raising your\nrates<\/li><li>A personal taste of chocolate, cinnamon and a lesson in\nrepurposing content (a popular blog post of mine!)
