Not much bothers me more than hearing a Virtual Assistant say they\nare \u2018waiting\u2019 for their first client.<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s a common turn of phrase \u2013 when something hasn\u2019t\narrived yet, we are awaiting it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But a lot of VAs I know are actually doing exactly that \u2013\nwaiting for the client to contact them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And waiting \u2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why does it bother me so much? Because I know that if\nthey just took action, they would get that client.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Being in business means finding clients and making sales.\nWithout sales, you have no revenue, and without revenue, you have no business.<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Virtual Assistants usually don\u2019t have sales experience \u2013\nand so waiting for clients is simply something that is common because we\ndon\u2019t  know what we should be doing to\nfind them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And because there are so many others in the same boat, we\nthink it\u2019s normal to wait.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But it\u2019s definitely not!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I see it in the VA groups \u2013 \u2018I\u2019m still waiting on my\nfirst client!\u2019 \u2018Me too!\u2019 \u2018Same!\u2019. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ask any busy VA how they got their clients, and they will\ntell you that it was hard work, or that they networked, or that they sought out\nreferrals \u2026 that they took action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The good news is that it really isn\u2019t that hard to take\naction!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It doesn\u2019t really take a ton of fancy strategy, or\nspending money on ads, or even writing a lot of blog posts and social media\ncontent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The one thing you really need to do is have conversations\nwith business owners that you can help.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Putting yourself into conversations with people that need\nyou is the quickest way to finding great clients.<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

I tell you all the time \u2013 talk to just 2 people a day,\nand that\u2019s 40 to 60 conversations every month (40 if you take weekends off!) \ud83d\ude0a. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you have 40 business conversations a month, you will\nget clients. The numbers work in your favour every single time.<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Where are you spending your time? If it\u2019s not networking\nwith business owners, then that\u2019s the one change you need to make in your\nbusiness \u2013 and it will reap rewards. Very quickly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Supplement those daily interactions with simple content\nthat your audience is interested in, and voila you have an easy marketing plan\nthat brings clients in to your VA business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
