Chat GPT to be precise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now before you roll your eyes and think, <em>I\u2019m not a tech person<\/em>, <em>I don\u2019t want robots writing my stuff<\/em>, or <em>I don\u2019t have time to learn another tool\u2026<\/em> I want you to know this episode is for <em>you.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is about working smarter, not harder. It\u2019s about getting support with your content creation so you\u2019re not staring at a blank screen every week. It\u2019s about using tools like ChatGPT to help you show up consistently, confidently, with content that connects and converts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So if you\u2019re a VA who struggles with marketing, or content planning, or you\u2019ve just been winging it when it comes to what you post\u2026 this episode is going to change how you look at AI. And how you use it to build your business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Let\u2019s Get Honest About Content Creation<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Creating content regularly \u2026 social media, newsletters, blogs, podcast episodes, even proposals or email sequences \u2026 it\u2019s a <em>lot<\/em>. And if you\u2019re like most VAs I work with, you probably feel like you don\u2019t have enough time, you don\u2019t know what to say, you\u2019re repeating yourself, or you\u2019re worried about saying the wrong thing and sounding unprofessional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sound familiar?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Creating good content takes effort. But creating <em>ridiculously good<\/em> content? That takes a plan, confidence in your voice, and often, a little help.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I know exactly how you feel. I never knew what I was doing with my marketing content when I was a VA. I didn\u2019t know what to write about, I thought everything sounded salesy or dumb, and I wasn\u2019t getting any traction from it anyway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It really was a waste of my time until I started working with a marketing coach who help me find my voice and my message. That cost me money!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019m SO jealous that you guys have the ability to get help easily for your VA business marketing. Enter Chat GPT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I love using Chat GPT for marketing content. It\u2019s so helpful. Not to replace me, not to write my stuff for me, but to support me. And it can support you too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What ChatGPT <em>Really<\/em> Is \u2013 and What It Isn\u2019t<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Let\u2019s clear something up right away. AI tools like ChatGPT are not here to take over your job. They\u2019re not here to \u201cautomate\u201d your voice. They\u2019re not going to magically make you a content queen overnight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But what they <em>can<\/em> do is help you brainstorm faster, organize your ideas more clearly, structure your content, draft outlines, hooks, intros, call to actions, and even help you sound more confident and polished<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They are an <em>assistant<\/em>. A really smart, tireless assistant who doesn\u2019t get writer\u2019s block, doesn\u2019t need coffee, and won\u2019t ghost you when you need them most.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And if you\u2019re worried about \u201csounding like a robot\u201d, you won\u2019t. Because the secret is this: AI is only as good as the prompts you give it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When you feed it the right context, examples, and instructions, it will give you ideas that sound just like <em>you<\/em>, only faster and more consistent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How I Use ChatGPT in My Business<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Let me walk you through how I use ChatGPT in my own business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I love using ChatGPT for brainstorming. For list making. For checklists. For drafting outlines for my trainings and podcast episodes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Podcast Episode Planning<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>I start by asking ChatGPT to help brainstorm 10 episode titles or topics based on a theme I\u2019m working with, or based on my analytics of popular episodes \u2013 things like confidence, client communication, or visibility. I might ask it to pick a mood or direction, like sounding inspiring or informative or statistical. Then I pick my favourites and ask it to help me structure the talking points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2. Newsletter Drafts<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once I have a podcast topic, I ask ChatGPT to create a newsletter summary, or even write an email from my point of view and using my voice \u2013 the way I write or speak. I tweak it, add personal touches and examples, and I\u2019m done in a fraction of the time that it used to take me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3. Social Media Posts<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019ll drop my blog post into Chat GPT and ask it to create 3 short posts that pull out highlights from my episode \u2013 and to include calls to action, confidence-building language, and even questions to encourage engagement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>4. Course Materials or Offers<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If I\u2019m launching a workshop or promoting a program, I use ChatGPT to help draft the sales page outline, the FAQ section, and emails to promote it. I can also ask it to help me outline courses, create workbooks or worksheets \u2013 there are endless ways to use Chat GPT for courses. And I don\u2019t even use it fully the way others do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s not that I couldn\u2019t do all this on my own. I\u2019ve been writing content for years. But I don\u2019t want to spend 6 hours a week writing posts and emails. I\u2019d rather spend that time coaching, recording, or even hanging out with my dog in the back yard. ChatGPT helps me do that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And honestly, Chat GPT helps me do more of what I want to do. It doesn\u2019t matter if I\u2019m busy, I can get the things done that I need to for my business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What Makes AI-Generated Content \u201cGood\u201d?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>This is where a lot of people get it wrong. AI is not a shortcut to <em>great<\/em> content unless you know what makes content great in the first place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here\u2019s what your content still needs, whether it\u2019s written by you, with AI, or with a ghostwriter:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A clear <em>message<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A strong <em>point of view<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A <em>tone<\/em> that sounds like <em>you<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A <em>call to action<\/em> that invites connection or conversion<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>ChatGPT can help with <em>all<\/em> of that, but only if you give it the right foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can\u2019t just say: \u201cWrite a post about confidence.\u201d That\u2019s too vague.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But if you say:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cWrite a warm and encouraging Instagram caption in my voice. I\u2019m a Virtual Assistant who helps business coaches with their group programs. I want to talk about how a smooth client experience is essential to someone being a good coaching client. Make it 100 words. Include a call to action that encourages someone to book a discovery call with me.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With that much detail you are going to get much closer to your own voice and expertise than you will with just a simple short prompt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I had to teach ChatGPT how to write like me, and it took a while. At first it wasn&#8217;t good at all. I had to show it how I wrote and tweak and tweak. But it learns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can always tweak it afterwards and maybe even add a story. But the bones are <em>done<\/em>. In five minutes. And you can move forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That\u2019s the power of good prompting and it\u2019s the best way to make the most of your Chat GPT work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Good prompts are the key to getting the right results, or the best results from your AI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>One of the best things I did was take some training in how to use AI better.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I entered my ideal client description, my programs, my expertise, and more into it so that it could get to know me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I entered writing samples and I have a lot of conversation with it so that it gets to know how I speak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I ask it to \u2018be\u2019 someone important, like a marketing specialist or a copywriter \u2013 and it uplevels what it spits back out, not because it gets smarter, but because it uses the data to send out better stuff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s just. So. Cool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Common Content Tasks You Can Use AI For<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If you\u2019re wondering what kind of content AI can help you with, here\u2019s a list you might want to write down:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Blog post ideas and outlines<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Podcast episode planning and scripts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Social media post hooks and captions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Email newsletters and sequences<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Video scripts and YouTube descriptions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Course outlines and lesson drafts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sales page copy or offer breakdowns<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lead magnet creation (titles, summaries, structure)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proposals, bios, and service descriptions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Even client-facing communication templates<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>I hosted a Content Workshop for VAs recently and I was so excited to introduce our participants to working with Chat GPT. I also attended a business workshop myself and hosted a group session on using Chat GPT that was very popular. Everyone is so curious!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I think a lot of people are afraid of AI \u2013 of being found OUT! But it\u2019s not about that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I always recommend using it as a starting point and then changing it to suit your needs and especially your voice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s also key not to try to do <em>everything<\/em> at once. Start with one task \u2014 maybe your weekly newsletter, or your Instagram content \u2014 and get comfortable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then expand from there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why This Isn\u2019t \u201cCheating\u201d<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Some people still feel a little weird about using AI to help them write content. And I get that. But here\u2019s how I think about it:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Using AI to support your writing is no different than using a calculator to check your math, or a project management tool to track your tasks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You\u2019re still doing the thinking. You\u2019re still setting the direction. You\u2019re just getting <em>support<\/em> to move faster, stay consistent, and feel more confident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I remember when I first started using Chat GPT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I didn\u2019t like what it spit out for me at all. It looked like what everyone else was putting out there. The emojis, the em dashes, the bullet points, the language.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was salesy, smarmy, icky.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was only when I learned that you have to teach it who you are \u2013 then it can start to produce results that are more in line with you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s not cheating. It\u2019s <em>cheering<\/em>.
