I just don&#8217;t know what to post.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Business owners tell me that too!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you\u2019ve ever said that, it\u2019s not just you. It\u2019s a big reason that business owners &#8211; and definitely VAs &#8211; stay inconsistent and invisible on social media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They sit down, open Facebook or LinkedIn, stare at the screen for a few minutes, can&#8217;t think of anything brilliant to say&#8230; and close the app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Or worse they sit there for an hour and waste their time, still not really posting anything that will work for them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They promise themselves they&#8217;ll do it tomorrow.<br>Tomorrow becomes next week.<br>Next week becomes next month.<br>Before they know it, they&#8217;ve practically disappeared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And then what happens? They panic because they don\u2019t have clients!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They know they have to do marketing, so they spend an entire Sunday trying to create content, update their profile, redesign their graphics, and suddenly become visible again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Guess what? Marketing doesn&#8217;t work well when it&#8217;s something you only do when business is quiet. Like a pop up!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It works when you make it a habit. And that\u2019s what I want to talk about today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Real Problem Isn&#8217;t That You Don&#8217;t Know What to Post<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What\u2019s the biggest issue? You don\u2019t know what to post. At least you think that\u2019s the problem &#8211; I\u2019d actually challenge you here, that I don\u2019t think that\u2019s the problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Every single one of you listening has knowledge. Tons of knowledge!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You answer client questions. You solve problems. You learn new things. You have opinions. You notice trends. You celebrate wins. You make mistakes and learn from them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All of that stuff is content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The problem isn&#8217;t that you have nothing to say.<br>The problem is that you&#8217;re putting too much pressure on yourself to say something amazing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You think every post needs to attract clients.<br>You think every post has to sound professional.<br>You think every post has to teach something groundbreaking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And you don\u2019t even think what you have to say is good enough!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All you need to do is to remind people that you are here, you exist, you are here to help.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Visibility Builds Confidence<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Think about this:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We often believe confidence comes first and then everything else will fall in line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That one day you&#8217;ll wake up and think, &#8220;Today I&#8217;m finally confident enough to start posting.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But that&#8217;s rarely how it works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your confidence will only grow because you are taking action and actually learning things while you move forward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Confidence grows because you take action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The first post might feel awkward.<br>The fifth one feels a little easier.<br>The twentieth one doesn&#8217;t seem like a big deal anymore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The same is true for commenting on someone else&#8217;s post. Practice makes perfect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Not that what you post needs to be perfect, but you know what I mean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When you network, or join conversations introduce yourself, each time you do these things you are building your confidence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You&#8217;re becoming someone who isn&#8217;t afraid to be seen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And that is what really matters because clients can&#8217;t hire the VA they&#8217;ve never heard of.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Visibility is about making sure your clients see you and understand that you can help them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That\u2019s really all it means!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">My Favourite Marketing Habit<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the things I teach all the time is the power of spending just 15 minutes a day on something important.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Not three hours. Not your entire afternoon. Just 15 focused minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Why? Because anyone can find 15 minutes. Anyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And consistency beats intensity almost every time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I&#8217;d rather see you spend 15 minutes a day marketing your business than three hours once a month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I tell you all the time about the VAs that I coach who have been saving their marketing for Sunday nights &#8211; and then inevitably something comes up with the family, and they push that reserved time aside &#8211; and a whole week is lost because they don\u2019t have more time slotted in until the following Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That is a habit you have to break. It is so much easier to do 15 minutes a day than to find 3 hours at once.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Those little pockets of effort build momentum. They create focus. They keep your marketing top of mind for you, and they keep your business visible for your audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They help marketing become part of your routine instead of another task you keep putting off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I remember one week when I was busy doing client work, and I realized I hadn&#8217;t talked about my own business in almost two weeks. Nobody had done anything wrong. I was just invisible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So I set my timer and I spent 15 minutes that day commenting on a few posts, sharing a thought I&#8217;d had while coaching a VA, and checking in with someone in my network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nothing revolutionary about any of that, but it reminded me that marketing doesn&#8217;t have to be an event. It can simply be part of how I run my business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Just a simple part of the day &#8211; and it feels good because it reminds you how you help people (which is the whole point!)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">So What Does Fifteen Minutes Look Like?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Let\u2019s talk about what that 15 minutes looks like. It\u2019s not a checklist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You don\u2019t have to do every one of these things every day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Create a list, of course, but then pick and choose from it &#8211; whatever your business needs that day. Or whatever you feel like doing today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some days you might spend your time commenting on posts from business owners.<br>Not with a quick &#8220;Great post!&#8221; but with a thoughtful comment that starts a conversation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some days you might reply to a few Instagram Stories, congratulate someone on a milestone, or welcome new people into a networking group.<br>Other days you might write a simple post of your own.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nothing has to be a masterpiece, it just has to be helpful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Maybe it\u2019s a lesson you learned this week.<br>A common mistake you see business owners making.<br>A productivity tip.<br>A mindset shift.<br>A question you&#8217;ve answered for a client several times recently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Maybe it\u2019s a story about how you helped a client with a task or project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You get the picture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some days you might not create anything at all.<br>Instead, you might share a podcast episode that inspired you, an article you found interesting, or another business owner&#8217;s post that really resonated with you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You just need to make sure you add your own thoughts. Tell people why you&#8217;re sharing it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That&#8217;s where your personality comes through.<br>And yes, you can do these things on Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Threads, or wherever your ideal clients spend their time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The platform isn&#8217;t nearly as important as the habit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And you don\u2019t need to be everywhere &#8211; focus on one platform at a time. Fifteen minutes a day in one place will be much more effective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Stop Measuring the Wrong Thing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What discourages you about social media? I bet I know.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You post once. Maybe two people like it. Nobody comments. You get discourages and decide that social media doesn\u2019t work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But you\u2019re measuring the wrong thing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Instead of telling yourself, \u201cThis post didn\u2019t get me a client.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Focus on <em>Did I show up today? Did I make a connection? Did I start a conversation? Did I remind people that my business exists? That I can help them with someone with really clear?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Because that&#8217;s what consistent marketing really is.<br>It&#8217;s hundreds of small moments that add up over time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Does that make sense? Does that help?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s really that simple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Your Challenge<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I&#8217;d love for you to try something over the next 30 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Set a timer for 15 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When the timer starts, spend those 15 minutes doing something that makes your business more visible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Maybe you comment on a few posts.<br>Maybe you write one short post.<br>Maybe you reconnect with someone in your network.<br>Maybe you share something valuable with your audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What you do doesn\u2019t matter, at least when you first start. But you have to do something.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And while you are doing this over the next 30 days, don\u2019t measure anything. Likes, comments, follows, whatever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You are measuring something much more valuable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You are measuring whether you became someone who showed up for your business every single day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Because that&#8217;s the person who builds a successful VA business. Not overnight, not because of one brilliant post, but because you kept showing up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Do You Need Help?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Create the habit &#8211; show up, become visible &#8211; and you\u2019ll get more comfortable doing it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And it. will. work.
