Business planning gets me jazzed up. It’s exciting to flesh out ideas and make plans to bring new and exciting programs to my network.<\/p>\n
In short, it helps me know what I am doing to bring revenue (and more!) into my business.<\/p>\n
Do you know what you are doing?<\/strong><\/p>\n If you don’t have a clear picture of your purpose, keep reading!<\/p>\n So as I was doing some reading over the holidays, I came upon a course I had taken late last year about marketing.<\/p>\n One of the pieces of the program was to develop my Mission Statement.<\/strong><\/p>\n I didn’t remember writing it, but it rang very true when I re-read my homework. (Imagine not remembering something so important!)<\/p>\n Here is the piece I came across:<\/p>\n Mission statement: What are you trying to accomplish, and why?<\/strong><\/p>\n My response: I want to teach VAs how to market their business better so they can be more successful.<\/p>\n How? by providing education, inspiration, motivation, by teaching strategies and skills, and by providing resources to support the teaching I do, as well as being a sounding board for issues, problems and questions in our quest.<\/p>\n Voila. Bits for a mission statement, and I didn’t even remember it (talk about needing to slow down when taking training!)<\/p>\n So, here for you is my new mission statement \u2026 the ‘what’ I want to do, to help you in your business, and the ‘why’ too:<\/p>\n
