How to Get 100 Virtual Assistant Clients

One of my clients gives some profound advice in her first book. It’s about getting clients.

She talks about numbers being so important in business. I agree with her … you know I talk about the numbers (and math!) all the time.

But she does things on a much larger scale than I do.

So when I came across this gem from her, I realized I hadn’t thought of it in the same terms before, even though I talk about the same concept (keep doing what works!)
100 Clients
The quote reads: If you can get one client, you can get ten. If you can get ten clients, you can get 100. Odette Laurie

I read that and I realized the possibilities. It’s very simple … and very true.

The bottom line is that if you have one client, you think about what you did to get that client. Then you repeat it until have 10 clients. You probably tweak your strategy so that you do it better and faster, but once you have 10 clients, you repeat again until you get 100.

It’s all about strategy and assessment.

What did you do that worked to get clients? Do it again.

What did you do that didn’t work? Don’t do it. Or at least don’t do it the same way again. Tweak and try again.

Maybe it was a networking event you attended that worked for you. Maybe it was a particular service offering or package that worked. Maybe it was a focused marketing campaign. Maybe it’s a referral partner or strategic partner or coach that helped you. Whatever it is, repeat!

But use the strategies that work for you and keep the clients coming!

For me, it’s connecting with business coaches where they hang out, reach out to the ones that I know need services similar to my current clients (they may even know them) and invite them to a consult to talk to them very specifically about how I can help them.

Let me know what works for you to get clients. I’d love to hear it!
